Although mental illness and abuse are probably among the most difficult topics to read, sometimes reading passages or stories you relate to can be a relief, or can help explain to others a certain situation. They can also be helpful for those who have NOT gone through these situations, to help them understand better or be more empathetic.
HOWEVER, please keep in mind that these topics are not necessarily beneficial for every reader, and some readers may find them triggering. My goal is to add potential trigger warnings with each book, to help readers avoid the books that could make their situation worse.
DISCLAIMER: I cannot possibly add every trigger for every person. Therefore, I will focus on triggers that are more likely to impact my audience. Some triggers may still be missed, as I am one person, but I will do my best.
